SOFTWARE AND MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT

The need for an efficient management of information demands the implementation of software
solutions along with business structures that are in a position to take full advantage of them.

IDEC has also developed special software programmes for management information systems and
online production planning and control in a factory using the most advanced technics.

The fact that most SME companies in Greece employ less than 10 people and that they are
dispersed over a territory that includes thousands of islands means that there is a great difficulty to
organise training courses covering all the territory.

IDEC developed a multimedia courseware in the framework of a FORCE project and now is developing
a multimedia project in the framework of LEONARDO. Furthermore, IDEC has developed a great
number of multimedia tools as powerful autonomous toosl for self-training, or better, as attractive and
efficient supplement of distance learning and in-class-training.
