INNOVATIVE TELE-SERVICE FOR SME - KNOWLEDGE BASED IT SERVICES FOR TRANSNATIONAL COMPANY MODELS (Acronym INNOSTART)

 

The wide spread use of powerful IT networks enables new innovative application scenarios. This is valid not only for the IT sector but increasingly also for other branches like the industrial-technical service branch. And here not only for the big companies but particularly for SME who has not anticipated this development yet. New kinds of companies (virtual enterprises) as well as new kinds of services (remote control of plants down to home equipment over the internet, internet based delivery of CAD, programming, consulting or developing services) enables and initiate the foundation of new enterprises and the stabilization of existing companies respectively (opening new markets, more and better service for the customers, expanded participation at tenders by virtual companies). The usage of flexible working forms such as tele-service and tele-cooperation on the basis of IT networks allows the delivery of the service internationally. The SME gain thus the opportunity to develop European partnerships and meet therefore the challenges of the globalization and increasing competition.
