MODULAR COURSES ON MODERN SENSORS

AIMS

A. The project is focussed on teachers in vocational training institutions offering them educational material and methodology on modern sensors including pre-fabricated laboratory exercises.
B. The special modules will be disseminated to contribute to the improvement of the continuing vocational training especially in SMEs. Web-based distance learning will be also supported, including virtual laboratory.
C. People with fresh knowledge of late news in sensor technology will push on innovation in their companies and:
1. They will also increase their value on the job market
2. Partnership with sensor experts and applicators will improve the quality of the content and effectiveness of  training
3. Modularity and distance access to virtual labs will  improve the chances for disabled and also for "technical analphabets"
4. Offering the educational modules to SMEs will contribute to their technological adaptability
5. ICT will be used as educational  tools, including both virtual and real computer-controlled experiments
