The aim of the project is the design of a training package which will serve to the productive sector immersed in the cyclical market in order to overcome the periods of law demand with the least possible loss of work places (social competitiveness) and without losing company competitiveness. All this with an innovative online and really valid format for the productive sector. We must not forget that equality of opportunities will be enhanced, which will allow the integration of both genders in the work places which include decision making.

POCODIMA aims at developing training material for conflict management. The ability to manage positively conflicts and differences is a crosscutting expertise, unavoidable for the multicultural world of Information Technology to become more efficient in situations needing communication between persons of different social-cultural background. That ability is an important component of tutors’ capabilities in sustaining an high motivational level between leaners with conflictual differences (implied or explicit ones).

An increasing number of VET teachers/trainers work as developers or project coordinators of transnational project work. They need more competence in the field of international projects planning, implementation and evaluation but most of all a validation system recognising their competence and experience. A large part of this is acquired through non formal or informal learning. We seek to recognise and accredit this learning by creating an integrated European system.

Through recent Leonardo da Vinci programme periods the European CERN partnership, has developed a set of quality instruments for VET networks. Besides research papers, evaluation handbooks and training programmes the EVAL II project with SPEAK produced a strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation tool for VET networks, which in the course of the Leonardo da Vinci pilot project EVAL IV has been tested and validated in collaboration with VET institutes and stakeholders.
