IDEC is among the most extensive distance learning content holders in Greece.
Our distance learning materials are available, as a rule, in diverse languages. Most of them are delivered either through the web or through CD ROMs.
We also own the Thalys web-portal in which we present a small selection of materials. In the coming months, an updated version of Thalys with additional materials and a new user friendly layout will be published.
We develop distance learning materials and e-learning platforms both for our customers to cover their in-house training needs, and for enriching our own services with additional elements (e.g. combination of consultancy and training).

The Bony’s project aim is to develop an intelligent platform for social networks of students/professors able to assist the trainee, in order to satisfy her/his education needs. The core technology proposed by the Bony’s project is based on the most recent advances from the Artificial Intelligence, Social Networks and ICT technologies, and offers a solution to the mentioned problems. -

This project developed a training programme and adapted it to an e-learning platform that it has been tested in different training pilot projects. This tool provides Simulations of Interactive Virtual Reality to train the most critical operations in maintenance of wind mills regarding safety, budget and relevance. -
GMDSS e-learning system (EGMDSS)
The project outcome is the GMDSS e-learning system, accessible on the internet web site www.egmdss.com, which includes a maritime Short Range Certificate (SRC) course. The system has many thousands registered users, so it offers a good opportunity for the success of other possible martime courses included in the same GMDSS E-learning system. -
