Aims of the project are:
- To encourage learning of basic skills in the new ICT by the beneficiaries.
- To think, at European level, about new methodologies and their potential to improve the way old people learn and spend their free time and to encourage inter-generational dialogue and recover Historical Memory.
The Bony’s project aim is to develop an intelligent platform for social networks of students/professors able to assist the trainee, in order to satisfy her/his education needs. The core technology proposed by the Bony’s project is based on the most recent advances from the Artificial Intelligence, Social Networks and ICT technologies, and offers a solution to the mentioned problems.
The aim of the project is to contribute to the improved understanding and evidence base of the benefits and impact of computer simulations on the efficiency of learning/teaching biology and other science subjects, to provide teachers with a tool/model necessary for the efficient implementation of computer based simulations in their teaching process and consequently foster the uptake of these simulations in their teaching practices.
Road safety is one of the most important public health problems in Europe and in the world. The World Health Organization estimates that every year, according to the statistics, 1.2 million people are known to die in road accidents worldwide.
Quality assurance and evaluation are two of the most important elements in education and training. Quality assurance and evaluation methods and practices have been established to some extend in education of all levels and in vocational training. Especially in schools and universities, there exist common acceptable European quality criteria, indicators and evaluation methodologies.
Stress is now recognised as one of the most prevalent and serious work-related health problems. It is associated with psychosocial hazards and represents a challenge for effective health and safety management due to the constantly changing nature of work in today's knowledge-based economy.
In today’s knowledge-driven economy intellectual property (IP) rights have become valuable business assets. Most successful companies in recent years have relied heavily on their creative and innovative capacity as their main source of competitiveness. IP protection offers an important tool for businesses to enhance competitiveness and strengthen the position of their products or services in the marketplace. A large majority of SMEs (70%) estimate they need support in the area of IP management. But SMEs have limited resources (time, money etc) to get to informational resources.
The systematic attempt in developing accident or incident scenarios for training of young cadets and seafarers working at sea and ports in emergency situations is considered novel and has not done before. The project concerns those aspects of human error related to emergency situations which can be corrected through removal of existing deficiencies in Maritime Education and Training (MET) of cadet officers as well as those working on board vessels as officers of various ranks.
SPA-ROAD main objective is to prevent and combat the stress of the road transport drivers (freight and passengers) and SME workers in order to improve their health and the European roads safety, reducing the number of accidents caused by stress consequences in workers. This objective is to be accomplished by providing the target group with a set of training contents and activities that will be presented in a learning platform and will be available for mobile learning.
This project developed a training programme and adapted it to an e-learning platform that it has been tested in different training pilot projects. This tool provides Simulations of Interactive Virtual Reality to train the most critical operations in maintenance of wind mills regarding safety, budget and relevance.
