SAFEGUIDE

The issue of Occupational Health and Safety in industrial workplaces, in big factories as well as in SMEs, in spite of a series of laws and regulations, is still far from being resolved.

The outcomes of the SAFGUIDE project are:

  • Methodology for the estimation of occupational hazards. • Application of the methodology in four professions (Workers of explosive materials, Fitters Gas Welders, Electric Welders, Machine tool operators) as case studies.
  • Guides for the exposure in Occupational health and safety hazards in industry concerning the four case studies.
  • Transnational conference in order to disseminate information to all interested parties.
  • Publication of a book titled “Health and Safety at Industrial Work places”.
