Certification
The way a company or an institution manages quality, environment, health and safety of its staff but also the quality of its products or services for the benefit of its customers constitutes perhaps the most effective way of competing with similar products or services produced in law wage countries.
Being one of the first Greek companies active in the area of standards implementation, today IDEC SA has to show a long list of customers, to which it provides support for implementation and certification against a variety of international and national standards, e.g.
Main concern during this process is to install bureaucracy-free systems that can be used as a rich source of information and documentation for both operational and strategic management.
To this end, IDEC S.A. also provides its customers with a rich inventory of tools it has developed. Most of these tools have been tested and are being used both in Greece and overseas. Some of these tools, for instance the books “ISO 9001 standard in simple words” and “Guide of application of ISO 9001 standard” are available in the market. The development continues with additional books on ISO 22000 and ISO 14000 which are planned to be published in the following months.
